Leif Chappelle is a freelance composer based in Seattle, focused on contributing his talents to original projects for both live performance and interactive media. Having attended Cornish College of the Arts, he has had the opportunity to collaborate with a range of fellow artists as well as write for Seattle's premiere chamber ensembles including the Seattle Chamber Players and the Saint Helens String Quartet. He graduated in the spring of 2006 with a Bachelor in Music. Leif has collaborated with several dancer/choreographers in the Seattle area including Karen Brown and Pilar Villanueva, bringing a unique sound to original works. He has also contributed music for several video games, working with Australian composer Scott Cairns' SCA Sound Studios in order to bring these titles to life. When not composing, Leif works as a contract software tester for such companies as Nintendo of America and Microsoft Game Studios.
